I’m Jess Sommerville, a multidisciplinary artist in Portland, Oregon, currently working as a freelance designer. I declared that I would be an artist at my kindergarten graduation and have been creating (mostly) beautiful things ever since. As of late, my work includes branding, lettering, wedding invites, and t-shirts.

I enjoy chai lattes, nodding along to sweet jams, and trying to be a generally conscientious human being. I strive for clean, subtle design and have a sharp eye for detail. I love illustrating and sneaking in humor where I can.

If you are interested in working with me, shoot an email to to discuss freelance projects or opportunities.
